We recently contacted our former Tesco Life customers informing them that future letters and other communications about their policy will carry the Countrywide Assured name and logo.

Background information
Tesco Life previously offered insurance policies provided by Direct Line Life Insurance Company Limited. At the end of 2014, the policies were transferred to us at Countrywide Assured plc to manage and administer. At the time of the transfer, the Tesco Life name and logo continued to be used in all communications concerning former Tesco Life customers’ policies.

Future communications
As the provider of the policy benefits, we now plan to replace the Tesco Life branding with that of Countrywide Assured. It means that former Tesco Life customers will see Countrywide Assured as the source of all letters and other communications and the Customer Services Team will answer calls as "Countrywide Assured". This change will not affect the policy or our service in any way.

However, it’s possible that letters using the Tesco Life brand will continue for a time during this changeover. So please bear with us during this time of transition.
