PPI is a short term insurance usually sold with a loan, mortgage or credit card. It covers loan repayments for a fixed period in the event of an accident, sickness or unemployment.
Here at Countrywide Assured our policies do not provide or offer PPI.
The insurance we do provide is ‘Income Protection Insurance’. This is a specific type of protection policy designed to provide a regular amount should the policyholder be unable to work due to accident or illness. This regular payment continues until the policyholder’s recovery, if appropriate, during the life of the policy or until the policy’s end date.
